Long Course Nationals Results

Arizona Masters sent a team of forty swimmers to Portland, OR for USMS Long Course Nationals at Mt. Hood Community College.  The team performed exceptionally well, finishing third and less than fifty points behind the second place team.  The pool was billed as one of the fastest in the Western US, and by the results we witnessed that claim is true.  Our swimmers set many fast times, including some national records, during the course of the meet.  If you are interested in the complete results, go to this link and browse to your heart's content.  This was a great meet for our team, thanks to everybody who made this results possible.

Technology Recycling Program

Arizona Masters Swimming is now a part of the eScrip recycling program. This means swimmers, spouses, and supporters can collect cartridges as well as cell phones, iPods, and notebooks and send them to a collection center. The funds for these items are then sent to our organization where they are recycled into our checking account! You can start collecting items right now at work, at home, or through friends. Once you get a box full of items, you can email the coordinator and receive a pre-paid UPS label via email. Then you take the box to a drop-off location (UPS Store, Office Depot, Staples, PostNet, etc.) and send it in. Doing so will keep trash out of landfills and help Arizona Masters Swimming, which is a win-win situation!
